We could give you a rough estimate over the phone but it would not be part of a contract nor can it be given any type of warranty. And a majority of the time it tends not to be accurate.
A good contractor likes to see what they are dealing with. There are many factors that can come in to play that can effect the price of a job.
Here are some factors that come into play when providing a price.
• The slope (This ensures that there is proper drainage)
• The area is an odd shape
• It is a shared driveway
• Repaving over an existing layer that is damaged
• Interlock has been requested (There are different price points)
• Will our equipment fit? (If not it can be labour intensive and may take longer)
It is best for both parties for the contractor to see the area being paved. It ensures that there are no surprises when beginning a job. And we all know what surprises lead to $$$ !
